Recovery is possible. Hope is found here.

Our homes are intentionally structured to promote long-term success through:

  • 12-Step recovery: Regular meeting participation, connection with a sponsor, and putting recovery principles into practice.

  • Accountability: Clear house expectations, curfews, resident check-ins, and shared responsibilities.

  • Peer support: A community that offers encouragement, connection, and support through everyday challenges.

  • MOUD-friendly housing: Support for residents taking prescribed medication for opioid use disorder under the care of a licensed medical provider.

  • Support for stimulant recovery: A structured, welcoming environment for individuals recovering from stimulant use disorder.

  • Life-skills development: Practical guidance in budgeting, communication, time management, and everyday responsibilities.

  • Individual goal planning: Regular mentoring to identify priorities, track progress, and take manageable steps toward independence.

  • Employment and education goals: Encouragement to pursue work, education, or vocational opportunities that support long-term stability.

  • Healthy daily routines: Morning meditation, recovery activities, and habits that support personal well-being.

  • Resident involvement: House meetings, shared chores, and opportunities to practice leadership and service.

  • Community connections: Connections to recovery coaches and outside providers through partner organizations.

  • Respect and dignity: A home where residents are treated with compassion and expected to extend that same respect to others.

At Hill Country Hope Homes, we provide structured, high-accountability 12-Step recovery housing specifically for individuals receiving medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) under the care of a licensed medical provider and for individuals recovering from stimulant use disorder. We recognize that recovery is not one-size-fits-all. Our homes are designed for people who are committed to long-term recovery and are ready to live in a structured environment that emphasizes accountability, peer support, personal responsibility, and meaningful lifestyle change. We respect prescribed MOUD as part of a resident’s recovery and believe people deserve access to supportive housing while following their provider’s treatment plan.

Residents become part of a recovery community built on the principles of the 12 Steps, where honesty, service, integrity, and connection create the foundation for lasting recovery. Through shared responsibilities, house meetings, and daily recovery practices, residents learn to show up for themselves and others. Our leadership and house managers bring lived recovery experience to the work we do. We understand the challenges of rebuilding a life and the value of having people beside you who understand the journey. That experience shapes our approach: compassionate support, clear expectations, and encouragement to keep moving forward.

Hill Country Hope Homes is partnered with UTHealth Houston and Project HOMES to help expand access to recovery housing in the Texas Hill Country. These partnerships support our commitment to connecting residents with community resources and creating a supportive environment for individuals who may face barriers to finding MOUD-friendly housing.

Recovery also means rebuilding everyday life. We support residents as they establish healthy routines, work toward employment or education goals, strengthen communication skills, and develop greater independence. Individual goal mentoring and life-skills activities help residents turn their priorities into practical, achievable steps. We provide recovery housing and peer support, while medical care and clinical treatment remain with licensed outside providers. Our homes offer a stable place to put recovery into practice, build connections, and prepare for the next chapter.

Whether you’re transitioning from treatment, participating in outpatient care, or seeking a stable recovery-focused home, Hill Country Hope Homes provides the structure, support, and community needed to build a healthy, independent, and purpose-filled life.
